2008 Edmond Economic Abstracts now available
Each year, the Edmond Economic Development Authority publishes the Economic Abstract, a full-color, 14-page publication containing the city of Edmond’s most impressive data and demographics. The 2008 Economic Abstract, sponsored by Oklahoma Christian University, contains demographic information and residential and commercial real estate market information. The 2008 Economic Abstract is a tool not only for the EEDA, but also for you and your organization to use for everything from recruiting employees, to attracting retailers and other tenants, to informing potential new residents. A monthly networking meeting that combines
former ED Partners and Commercial Real Estate Council
Members of the Edmond and metro area business and real estate communities meet monthly to be updated about new developments, recent business relocations and expansions and upcoming Edmond projects, as well as gather the latest economic statistics about Edmond, exchange information on real estate listings, compare leads and listen to informative speakers. Meetings are held at 8 a.m. on the 3rd Friday of each month at the EEDA's offices, 825 E. Second Street.

County Commissioner Ray Vaughn will make a presentation on the 5 propositions on the May 13th Oklahoma County bond election ballot. These items include a $55 million bond issue to acquire the more than 3.8 million square foot former GM facility. The other 4 propositions include flood control issues in the Deer Creek area and construction and maintenance of County facilities at a cost of $29.5 million for a total package of $84.5 million.
