REGISTER FOR THE 2009 EDMOND ECONOMIC PREVIEW

The Preview, sponsored by First Fidelity Bank, is Jan. 29 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Nigh University Center at the University of Central Oklahoma. The event includes a CD launch, luncheon and expert panel*. The CD includes all reports and a special video, previewed at the event. Pre-registration cost is $35 and the at-the-door cost is $45.  Both prices include the cost of lunch, the CD and parking. Attendees may purchase tables of eight for $270 until Jan. 23 by calling 340-0116. Hard copies of the CD are available for an additional $25. Parking traffic should be resolved this year as the gates will be open before and after the event.

Gas station sells

Murphy Oil USA Inc. purchased a 147-square-foot gas station at 1101 Northwest 164th Street from Wal-Mart Real Estate Business Trust for $180,000. The building was built in 2000. The Capitol Abstract & Title Co. handled the transaction.
