EEDA programs help breathe new life into Edmond’s core area
In the effort to maintain quality in Downtown Edmond, Edmond Economic Development Authority started the Bricks and Clicks program in 2001. The program was originated to help motivate Edmond’s core-area downtown business to improve the look of their physical and online store fronts, respectively. The “bricks” part of the program is mainly concerned with the renovations of the facades of stores in the downtown area. The “clicks” part of the program encourages businesses to get the most out of their Web site. In order for a business to receive assistance from the EEDA to fund the development of its Web site the business must sell merchandise online.
