Bed Bath & Beyond has leased 22,500 square feet next to Academy Sports at the corner of 2nd and Bryant in Edmond. Weingarten Realty from Houston, Texas is the landlord.

Rolling Green Apartments change hands
David Jones, Larry Schweer, and Great Southwest Venture, LLC have purchased the Rolling Green Apartments at 400 E. Danforth in Edmond. The property consists of 166 units and sold for $5.25 million. Rolling Green Housing Associates LTD., a Colorado limited partnership, was the seller. The Apartment Group at First Commercial Real Estate Services and Steve Pankratz with Century 21 Mark V Realty, Inc. handled the deal. Marcia J. Chappelear with First American Title & Trust handled the closing.

Stratford Square, Sunset Ridge Apartments sell for $4 million
Two Edmond apartment complexes were purchased yesterday by the BMFS corporation. The Sunset Ridge Apartments, located at 930 S. Boulevard, and the Stratford Square Apartments, at 240 SE 15th St., sold for $4.35 million.

Edmond City Manager delivers State of the City
City Manager Larry Stevens gave his first State of the City address at a luncheon on the University of Central Oklahoma campus. Stevens started work in Edmond March 15. “It is an absolutely fantastic and tremendous community,” Stevens said. “I’m even more enthused about the position now than when I took the job.”
